Guatemala: School Reading Corners and Scholarships Programs with Operation Blessing
In the Fall of 2016 and Spring of 2017, Ligaya will be looking to work in cooperation with Operation Blessing to help with educational corners at various schools currently being renovated in Guatemala. These educational corners will eventually include supplemental materials such as books, learning games and toys, and small tables and chairs for children to sit in. With this program, Ligaya helps with giving many children the opportunity to further their specific educational development.

Fall 2015 and Spring 2016
Latin America: School Scholarships Program with Operation Blessing
In the Fall of 2015 and Spring of 2016, Ligaya partnered with Operation Blessing to improve access to education in various Latin American countries.
This project will provide school supplies, uniforms, and enrollment fees for children who are living in poverty, allowing them to have access to an education. In some cases, children are also provided with transportation.
Spring 2015
Honduras: School Renovation with Operation Blessing
In the Spring of 2015, Ligaya will be working in cooperation with Operation Blessing to renovate a school in Peñitas Arriba, El Merendon, Honduras.
This project is to renovate the primary school and its bathrooms, provide furnishings, supplies, a playground, a vegetable garden, and renovate and reconfigure the community center into classrooms to create a middle school. Additionally, renovate the kitchen that will serve a hot meal for both schools each day.
